Pastor Brentten Wilburn grew up in Riverside, California before moving to Los Angeles at the age of 18 with his parents, Pastor Steve and Laurie Wilburn, as they stepped out in faith to plant Core Church LA. Though deeply connected to the church’s beginnings, Brentten didn’t join the staff immediately. For seven years, he worked in building maintenance and construction, gaining practical experience and discipline that would later shape his approach to ministry.

In 2019, Brentten responded to the Lord’s call on his life by stepping into leadership of Core Church’s High School Ministry. Each Thursday evening, he faithfully leads high school students in God’s Word, equipping them to know and follow Christ in a challenging culture. He was ordained as a pastor in 2021 and continues to grow in wisdom, leadership, and spiritual maturity.

Brentten and his wife, Elisa, have been married for over ten years and are raising their three children to walk in the ways of the Lord. Together, they are committed to serving God and His people with passion, humility, and faithfulness.
