Junior High Ministry
(11-14 year olds)
Middle school is a unique, fast-moving season filled with big changes, exciting milestones, new questions, and the journey of discovering who you are. At Core Church LA, our 5&2 Junior High Ministry (6th–8th grade, ages 11–14) exists to ensure no student has to navigate these pivotal years alone. We are passionate about creating a safe, vibrant, and welcoming space where middle schoolers feel truly seen, valued, and encouraged.
Our heart is to help young teens build a firm foundation in faith that lasts a lifetime. Through engaging, age-appropriate Bible teaching, open discussions where honest questions are welcomed, and authentic mentorship, we guide students to anchor their lives in God’s Word. Beyond Sunday gatherings, 5&2 is a place to build meaningful, Christ-centered friendships and discover how God’s love applies to everyday life at school, at home, and in our city.
Whether your teen has grown up in church or is taking their very first steps in exploring faith, there is a seat at the table and a place to belong here.
