Legacy Men’s Ministry

Pastor John is the leader of LEGACY, a Christ-centered Men’s Ministry built firmly on God’s holy, final, and authoritative Word. LEGACY exists by God’s grace, for His purpose, through the power of the Holy Spirit, and ultimately for His glory. Under Pastor John’s leadership, men are challenged and encouraged to grow in accountability and godly brotherhood—becoming servant-hearted spiritual leaders in their homes, workplaces, communities, and the Church.

With a firm commitment to biblical structure and discipline, LEGACY disciples men to rise as godly husbands and fathers, rooted in their covenant with the Lord. The model is Christ Himself—strong and courageous, yet humble and obedient—who came not to be served, but to serve and please the Father. Jesus is not only our Savior but also our ultimate role model.

In addition to leading LEGACY, Pastor John also leads the Prayer Ministry, faithfully walking alongside a devoted team of prayer warriors. He is also one of the pastors available for personal counseling. With a background of 32 years in law enforcement and over 25 years of experience counseling officers, Pastor John brings deep wisdom, compassion, and strength to those seeking guidance.

His journey in ministry began in humble service as a Watchman, but through faithfulness, God revealed a greater calling. Above all, Pastor John’s greatest passion is to love his wife, Lupe—with whom he has shared 42 years of marriage—their two sons, one daughter, and six grandchildren, just as Christ loves the Church.
